Basement flat in well connected part of central London

We live in a beautiful flat between Paddington and Marble Arch underground stations in zone 1.

There is a main bedroom with ensuite bathroom, with toilet, bath and shower. We have a smaller bathroom off the main corridor with toilet and shower. The main living area has an open plan living room and kitchen, with a TV and wifi. The second bedroom has a single bed, but there is a camp bed that can be put up too.

There is also a `secret bedroom` in a vault, connected to the apartment through the main corridor. This would be ideal for a child, has a single bed, bookshelves and not space for much more!

We have some outside space, though it is not much. Space for one car to park.

About the location

This area is brilliantly well connected with the following underground lines less than ten minutes walk; central (Lancaster Gate or Marble Arch), Bakerloo (Paddington), Hammersmith and City, Circle and District (all Paddington but a different entrance - well signposted). The flat is a short walk from Oxford Street/Marble Arch and a slightly longer walk from Soho and Chinatown.

Around five-ten minutes walk is Hyde Park, full of wonderful things to see; a huge adventure playground with pirate ship (the Princess Diana playground), an exciting flowing fountain (the Diana memorial fountain), lido and Kensington Italian Fountains. Walking through the park you can easily reach Kensington Palace and on the other side are all the museums; London`s Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert.

Close by is the canal, you can follow this to walk up to Camden or Portobello Road. Portobello is only a half hour walk away.
