The fridge and freezer are spacious and there is full recycling facilities. The windows overlook large grounds and beautiful views. The house is fitted with a brand new boiler and gas central heating.

Upstairs is a bathroom with a full size bath and a separate shower, there are ample towels and toiletries for you to use. There is one bedroom with a built in wardrobe and brand new very comfortable king size bed, the second bedroom has a very comfortable double bed and the third bedroom has a 3/4 sofa bed which is very comfortable.

There are hundreds of books and a huge supply of board games.

Outside at the front you overlook pretty gardens and a stone pound used historically to house animals in the area. There is a small patio with flowers and shrubs and a table and chairs for sitting out. Around the house (which is one of six in a terrace) are beautiful grounds extending down to the nearby village country park and the cricket club. There are washing lines and a garage for your use. There are three bicycles and wet suits and a big bag of beach equipment and toys as well as chairs, tables and a settee for outside use.

About the location

Sidbury is three kilometres from Sidmouth town which is directly on the coast. The buses pass the house every hour until 1900 in the evening. Sidbury has a very nice pub, a local village shop and a parish church and manor house. It is a friendly and vibrant small village. Every year the Sidmouth International Folk Festival is held for ten days during August.

It is easy to cycle from Sidbury to Sidmouth where there is a medium sized town with interesting, independent shops a beautiful beach and coastal walks. There are an abundance of restaurants and cafes. Sidmouth has a huge culture and arts offer, there is an Art Deco cinema and a live theatre, Manor Pavilion which has a summer season of eight plays a season. The world famous donkey sanctuary is three miles away and it is 30 minutes from the beautiful city of Exeter.
