It also dates from medieval times. There is easy access to London and the South Coast by road and rail, and public transport is good. There are many areas of interest close to Farnham; lots are family oriented too - Legoland, Windsor Castle, Kew Gardens, RHS Wisley.

About the location

Farnham is a small town, but with quick and easy access to cities such as Winchester, Guildford and, of course, central London in only 50 minutes by train. There is a large leisure centre and swimming pool in the town, art gallery and the Farham Maltings which hosts a wide range of cultural activities including film, theatre, comedy and music. Shopping is great - lots of boutiques and coffee shops, restaurants and bars.
