Lovely 4 Bed home in GUILDFORD, ENGLAND

Guildford is an attractive, historic town & excellent touring centre, about 40 mins from London by train & equidistant (40 km) from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Our house is detached, Georgian style located in a pleasant area. It has three double bedrooms and one single bedroom, a family bathroom and two en-suite shower rooms. The ground floor has a kitchen,lounge, dining room, study with computer facilities (email. internet etc.)There is also a laundry room with washer, dryer, bread-maker etc. In addition there is a conservatory which we use as an alternative dining room.

We have a fairly large, secluded garden with patio, lawn, soft fruit, vegetables, flower beds, two ponds etc.

The house is about 2 km from the centre of Guildford and a few minutes walk from local shops.There is beautiful open country nearby,which offers excellent walking and several golf courses. The ferry ports are easily reached, eg Portsmouth 1 hr., Channel tunnel 2 hrs. Gatwick and Heathrow Airports are less than 1 hr by car. London is easily accessed by train from several nearby stations where all-day tickets covering trains, buses and underground may be bought.

Other cities within easy reach include Oxford, Bath, Winchester, Canterbury. Many National Trust properties and the renowned Royal Horticultural Society Gardens are nearby. Windsor Castle is about 40km.
