Our home is a quiet, 2 bedroomed detached chalet style bungalow, on a private country club estate. A long golden sandy beach at Westward Ho! is a 5 mins / 15 mins walk away. Also a golf course which is reputed to be the oldest in England!!
The estate is surrounded by trees and overlooks green fields. Our bungalow is fully equipped to a high standard. There is a front decking and back patio with a small terraced garden area. There is a gym, squash and tennis courts in the Georgian grade 2 listed club house as well as a resturant.
There are small local shops, tea rooms and restaurants within the same distance and a public swimming pool.
The nearest, large-ish towns are: Bideford (2 miles) and Barnstaple (9 miles). Various attractions close by. Bideford is the "gateway" to Cornwall with Bude only 27 miles away.We have a beachut on Westward Ho! beach, opposite a sea filled paddling pool. It has great views over the bay. surfing is very popular here and other beach sports.
