Municipal recreation centre (swimming pool, exercise rooms, library) = 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. Two outstanding golf courses = each only 5 minutes away by car. Our home is situated just a 5 minute drive from the Fraser River, offering opportunities for fishing, camping, hiking, biking and horseback riding. Easy access to many attractions including national historic site of Fort Langley, the birthplace of British Columbia. In addition to Vancouver public beaches, the public beach at White Rock is 20 minutes away by car. We also highly recommend day trips to Seattle and Victoria, and to a number of really good ski facilities (Whistler, Grouse Mountain, Cypress Bowl, Hemlock, Mt. Baker, Manning Park).
