Berkhamsted offers plenty of history on its own, (castle ruins, oldest shop in England). Or drive a little further for Roman ruins! Berkhamsted is a lovely town with places to eat out or pubs to visit. Also near by (10 min drive) theres bowling, swimming, cinema, ice skating and nightlife. Our home has all the 'mod cons' you could need: washer/dryer, sky digital TV, internet, PS2, stereo, use of cars and lovely neighbours. We have one double bedroom, one single bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds. Ideal for a family with children.
