You can make beautiful walks (foot or bicycle) in the neighborhood. A 2h. drive takes you to Amsterdam. Thalys high speed train takes you to Paris in 1h.25min.,Eurostar to London is 2h15min. Closer to home are Brugge (60min.),Ghent (45min.), Antwerp (30min.) and historic university town Leuven (15min.).
