Large 3 bedroomed period property (Georgian and Victorian) set in 1.5 acres of private gardens, close to the historic market town of Swaffham. We are in excellent walking, biking or horseriding country, close-by Thetford Forest and within 40 mins of the Norfolk Heritage Coast (seal watching, angling, boating etc). Cambridge is 35 miles to the West and Norwich 23 miles to the East.
As you would expect of an old house, it has a wealth of period features...beams in some rooms and open fires/log burners in others. However, we also like the mod cons and there are all the usual (LCD TV,DVD, broadband etc), as well as a hot-tub in a summerhouse. The house does have a fishpond which may not be suitable for small children.
