WOULD ANYONE LIKE FIVE AND A HALF WEEKS IN OUR HOME, 29TH SEPTEMBER TILL 6TH NOVEMBER WHILST WE ARE ON HOLIDAY IN SOUTH AFRICA? CAR ALSO AVAILABLE. WE HAVE AN INDOOR AND OUTDOOR CAT. SHOULD YOU WANT TO BE AWAY FOR A FEW DAYS WE HAVE A NEIGHBOUR WHO WILL FEED BOTH CATS. Our home, is a comfortable 1940s semi on the outskirts of the small market town of Ramsbottom in Lancashire. Manchester is within easy reach and yet we are minutes away from open countryside and the Pennine moors. Public transport is good. The motorway is 2 miles away and access to Yorkshire, Liverpool, Blackpool, Lake District and Peak District is very good. There are 2 double bedrooms. We have quite a large garden. Minimal pet care required for an indoor cat and an outdoor one, both elderly. A nearby friend can cover for any time away from our home.

About the location

We are a mile from the small market town of Ramsbottom which hosts a number of festivals throughout the year. There is a station which runs the local steam train, swimming pool and theatre. The local area contains a number of varied walks and there are local shops a 5 minute walk away. Pubic transport is good and we are a 2 minute walk from the local bus-stop.
