Our riverfront home is in a beautiful rural setting only 20 minutes from the provincial capital, Fredericton. This small city is a university and political capital with many historic tree lined streets, small shops and restaurants. It is a safe and friendly place to live and visit.

Our home is located minutes from the Mactaquac Provincial Park, beach and golf course and is on a more than 5 acre private lot. Trees, flowers, grass and access to swimming in our private cove on the St.John River. A high end garden tractor is available but arrangements for lawn care will be made for you.

Fredericton is central location to visit all of the Eastern Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and, of course, our own province of New Brunswick, home of the higest tides in the world on the Bay of Fundy (a natural phenomenon not to be missed!). We are an hours drive from the Maine border to the United States and the entire American eastern seaboard is within a day or two drive. (i.e. 8 hours to Boston). However, the real benefit of an exchange to our home will be to experience the natural beauty and 'down east' hospitality of Atlantic Canada. It is a well kept secret that this is one of the most beautiful and friendly parts of our country.

We know that our newly renovated home will offer you a modern and comfortable base from which to enjoy eastern Canada. Winter offers opportunities to cross country or downhill ski, snowshoe, skate while our warm summers are perfect for walking, canoeing (canoe provided), kayaking, biking or any other outdoor pursuit.
