Pretty detached family home

A lovely detached house that we built ourselves. Located in a small and friendly village only three miles from the town of Bideford which has supermarkets and restaurants.
The house is only 10years old, and we built and designed it to maximise the beautiful location. Downstairs there is a lounge, a large kitchen diner, a study and a bathroom. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, 2 of them having ensuite bathrooms. There is also a family bathroom.
In front of the kitchen/ diner are large French doors that lead on to the garden. Everyone that stays enjoys sitting, relaxing and watching the river, especially with the sun going down and a glass of something refreshing!

About the location

Situated in a lovely, quiet position overlooking the River Torridge (made famous by Tarka the Otter), and close to the popular and picturesque Tarka Trail. The village is quiet, but it does have a perfectly positioned pub in the middle, that is walkable! Although rural, the village is conveniently close to civilisation. The superb beach of Westward Ho! is the closest or over the estuary other popular beaches include Saunton, Woolacambe & Croyde; all great for surfing and days out.

Alternatively we are close to Dartmoor, Exeter, Lynton & Lynmouth; marvellous walking and day trip locations. There are excellent golf courses close by. The Eden Project is 1hr30mins. Located 4 hours drive from the main airports of Heathrow or Gatwick. Exeter airport is closer, only 1 hour 15minutes away, flying to all major European destinations and major cities in the UK.
