Large, family-friendly wooden bungalow located in a lovely seaside suburb 10 mins drive from Auckland's CBD.
The house has 3 bedrooms (main with ensuite) and an office which could be used for extra sleeping. The back of the house is a large open-plan area encompassing kitchen, dining and living. It opens out to a large deck and spacious garden which has many children's toys - trampoline etc.
Point Chevalier has a lovely beach (15mins walk or 5 min drive) and 3 or 4 playgrounds within easy reach; it is a 15min walk to Auckland Zoo, Western Springs and Motat, local attractions. We have a car but are also on a good bus route and have a cab rank down the road. Point Chevalier has several good restaurants and bars but is also a 5 min drive from Herne Bay and Ponsonby - Auckland's trendiest shopping and eating areas.
Our house is particularly good for families with young children but would be suitable for any ages.
