Lovely 2 Bed home in FRESHWATER, ENGLAND
Our house is a beautifully upgraded 19th century cottage with garden (well tended, with summer house, greenhouse, lawn and vegetable garden) in a secluded lane less than a mile from the sea. There are two double bedrooms, wooden floors throughout and a substantial library; the open plan kitchen/conservatory has all mod cons (dishwasher, breadmaker etc) with additional facilities in the utility room. We have an integral garage plus off road parking.
We are on the outskirts of a substantial village in the rural West Wight; ferry connections to the mainland a couple of miles away. The area is a paradise for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers and has strong literary connections (Tennyson, Lewis Carroll etc). Our cat needs sitting!
