Lovely 4 Bed home in EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND

Ann Street is regarded as the best address in Edinburgh. In the summer months during the International Festival our house would rent out for at least $12 000 a week, therefore, please offer like for like. Your home doesn't have to be large but it does have to be special either in location or decor for us to consider an exchange for this house. Otherwise please look at our cottage in Skye.

Our Edinburgh house is on a beautiful Georgian street, quiet, leafy, cobbled road, the houses with front and back gardens next to the river, the Water of Leith. A short walk through the Georgian New Town or through the private park at the end of the street (we have keys) takes you to the centre of Edinburgh. An even shorter walk to Stockbridge the prettiest 'village' in the city with delis, cafes, boutiques. Another short walk and you are at the Botanic Gardens.

From the top floor of our house you can see the sea. We have lovely, peaceful front and back gardens designed by a famous garden designer. We have furnished our house with lots of antiques but it is also comfy and relaxed - well-behaved children are welcome.(Our children, age 4 and 1, are extremely well-behaved and are used to looking after beautiful homes - we have white carpets in our house!) The whole bottom floor is a playroom (and the private park has a playpark!)

Come to Edinburgh during the International and Fringe Festival (or any of the other myriad festivals in the summer: science, jazz, film, book....) or in the winter to celebrate Xmas with Edinburgh's new 'Winterwonderland' an outdoor fair and Xmas market, and the famous street parties/firework displays of Hogmanay.

You can go dry skiing in Edinburgh or drive an hour to the slopes. We have many beaches, the nearest about 15 minutes away. Gullane, about 30 minutes away has fantastic golf next to the sea. You can hillwalk in the centre of Edinburgh up Arthur's Seat or into the wilds of Perthshire a mere 1 hour's drive away.
