Our house is a modern, detached cottage in near-central Cambridge (10 minutes walk to historic centre). Cambridge is a beautiful, vibrant city with stunning university architecture, unique shops and many concerts and plays to enjoy. It is 45 minutes by train to London and there are many local rural attractions within a short drive. We have an excellent leisure centre close by.
The house has 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and a third bedroom used by our young child with a cot. There is an upstairs bathroom and a spacious downstairs showeroom+WC. Downstairs: a kitchen with all mod cons, a lounge/dining room, a lovely new garden room and a study. We have a small garden, off-street parking and a park just around the corner.
