Detached period property with open aspect to farmland

150 year-old recently renovated cottage in a pretty town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

We have central heating but also an amazing log-burning stove that you can enjoy from either the sitting room or the conservatory.

The kitchen is a dream with all-electric cooking. We have a bathroom upstairs and shower room downstairs complete with washing machine and dishwasher.
Friends will keep the garden tidy during your visit unless you are keen to potter yourselves.

Public transport is on our doorstep. Walking distance to the railway station with hourly trains to Grantham, onwards to London, Scotland, etc.. Local buses run every 30 minutes.

We have recently adopted 2 rescue cats who are very friendly, and no trouble. Neighbours will feed them when necessary.

About the location

Wainfleet has a lovely market square, gastro-pub, brewery and railway station. The internationally acclaimed nature reserve, Gibralter Point is only 3 miles away as the crow flies, and Skegness and all its seaside trappings is 5 miles away. Many working windmills, a cinema with an organ that comes up to play.

Lincoln is close by. A medieval city as endowed with treasures equal to York, but somehow off the tourist trail. Thank heavens! The Castle, Cathedral, Magna Carta, and Steep Hill are just amazing!

A car is not a necessity as we have an excellent train service and a good bus service. London is only a 2-hour train journey away.
