Our home is at the base of Swansea Mountain five minutes away from the downtown area. Invermere, nestled in the Rocky mountains, boasts 3 art galleries, unique gift stores and dining experiences. With a lake at one end, half a dozen golf courses and the Panorama ski hill just a 20 minute drive away, this town has something for everyone.. We are surrounded by abundant opportunities for hiking and fishing. Natural hot springs are less than an hour away, where you can soak in the mineral springs before jumping into icy creek water. If you want to shop till you drop, Edmonton is only 11/2 hours away and boasts the largest indoor shopping mall in the world. Banff, is a 2 hour drive away and is a ?must see?. From the Columbia Icefield and the Great Divide to Lake Louise, the scenery is breath-taking. If you take along our binoculars, you can see mountain goats, mountain sheep, deer, elk, moose and bear along the side of the road. This area is a photographer's dream.
