Ulsteinvik is the main centre on an island (total 12000 habitants) southwest of the city of Ålesund (app. 30 minutes travel to The Jugend City of Ålesund). The centre of Ulsteinvik is 10 min. walks away and has restaurants, pubs and all adequate shops.

Our house is located at the hillside with a beautiful seaside view: the harbour and lots of small islands. The house is located at a dead street end and you can start mountain walks directly from the house. The local mountains have a lot of marked routes. Ulsteinvik is a beautiful place with good facilities, especially when it comes to fishing, diving, mountain walks and as a central base for daily travels sightseeing the most beautiful nature Norway can offer: Sunnmøre.
