Our house is a mix of old and new, part of a sympathetic restoration of an old cathar/templar stronghold. Ours is the right hand side gate house, and shares a large pool with the rest of the complex. It is very well placed for touring, being surrounded by vineyards, walking distance to canal du midi for boating or cycling, within 50 minutes of the mediterranean and the pyrenees, 30 minutes to national park, 2 hours to Spain, 3.5 hours to Italy.
