Lovely 2 Bed home in WHITE ROCK, Canada

Hello from the beautiful west coast of British Columbia, Canada.

We have done 5 exchanges in France and would be happy to supply a reference. The families we exchanged with loved our home and much enjoyed their vacations. They also appreciated how well we cared for their homes.

We live in a lovely townhome very tastefully furnished within a gated community on a peninsula. We are situated on a 18 hole championship golf course and are surrounded by uncrowded beaches only a few kilometers away.

Our spacious 400 sqm home has three bedrooms and sleeps 6 comfortably. We have all the modern conveniences you would expect, including a very modern bright and sunny kitchen with warm hardwood floors, a large eating area, and family room with fireplace. The sundrenched west facing patio overlooks beautiful landscaping with soothing water features.

The master bedroom and master bathroom ensuite both have fireplaces. Another bedroom has its own sitting area and private balconey. The third very large bedroom also has an adjacent den.

The beach restaurants and shopping are close by and we are only a short distance to the USA border and the ferries to the surrounding islands including Vancouver Island.

Vancouver, site of the 2010 Winter Olympics is 30 km away with world-class shopping in the downtown area where you will also find Stanley Park, a large public park with an aquarium. Great dining experiences are to be found with fabulous views as the sun sets over the mountains and ocean. The cuisine within our region is exceptional in quality and diversity. The North Shore mountains are easily accessible by car and a tram will take you to the top of our local Grouse Mountain. Whistler Mountain, the alpine site of the 2010 Winter Olympics is nearby and also accessible by scenic train travel.
