Bright, large, stylish house with views - Scottish Borders

Our comfortable, modern house is spacious and sunny.

Two of the 4 double bedrooms are en-suite (super-king size bed in master bedroom), and there are also twin-bedded and single rooms. Public rooms are large and bright, with beautiful views. Fields at the bottom of the garden lead down to the River Tweed (fishing, canoeing), and there are lovely walks on the doorstep, ranging from strolls by the river past ruined castles and churchyards, to challenging hikes in the hills surrounding the town.

About the location

Our house is set in beautiful countryside in the small hamlet of Eshiels, just outside the historic and very attractive market town of Peebles http://www.peebles.info/
(great shops, restaurants, arts and leisure centres) and a few minutes from renowned mountain-biking centre, Glentress.

Three golf-courses are within 5 minutes drive, and the Border towns with historic abbeys etc are all nearby. Scotland`s capital city of Edinburgh is 40 minutes by car, or there is a bus stop 100m from the house, with half-hourly service into Edinburgh city centre.
