Our house is a Victorian cottage with garden, located in the centre of Totnes. Totnes is an ancient market town situated on the River Dart in South Devon with twice weekly markets; individual shops and restaurants; good walks and cycle routes into the surrounding countryside and good public transport being on the main London to Penzance train line. Within an half hour drive: South Devon beaches; holiday resorts of Torquay and Paignton; harbour towns of Brixham, Dartmouth, Salcombe; Plymouth and Exeter; Dartmoor National Park; and then Cornwall, about an hour away.
Our house is 2 mins walk to the high street and the river, 10 mins walk to the train station and 5 mins to pool/sport centre. It is on the Route 2 cycle path.
