Our Victorian terraced house is on a quiet street in the middle of Bedford Park, the world's first garden suburb. It's an architectural delight. And it feels like an oasis of calm in one of the world's busiest cities. It's a pretty five-minute walk to two sets of swings and roundabouts, a High Road full of family-friendly restaurants, and the London underground, which will transport you to the centre of London in 20 minutes.
The bus to Piccadilly Circus (via Notting Hill, Hyde Park, Oxford Street and Regent Street) goes from the end of the road. Wide open spaces at Richmond Park, for cycling (and tea drinking in the cafe) are only 10 minutes in the car. And we're well placed for the pretty honey-stone villages of the Cotswolds.
