Our home is a stone barn conversion alongside a small stream. You can paddle in the stream after a long walk and then help yourself to eggs from our hens.
In the main house there are 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom. Through the utility room is an adjoining 'Granny flat with one bedroom, a separate kitchen; ideal for extended family. The house has two parking spaces and there is a nearby bus stop.
Carleton is just two miles from Skipton, the 'gatewayto the Yorkshire Dales, memorable from the film, 'The Calendar Girls'. Quieter than the nearby Lake District, the Dales are perfect for a peaceful walking, cycling or reading-by-the-stream holiday. Carleton has a pub with good food, excellent for a lazy stay!
