Bristol is the home of Banksy and Brunel, outstanding natural beauty, excellent restaurants and cafes, and a good music scene. There are lots of green areas in the city from the well-renowned Downs with its wildflowers, which overlooks the Avon and is a great place for picnics, Leigh Woods, and the docks. Also an excellent cycle path to Bath along the Avon river is well worth a try. It is one of the most central cities in the West Country so has excellent links to the rest of this beautiful county.
