Lovely 3 Bed home in Brisbane/Gold Coast area, Australia

We live 25km south east from Brisbane city center and 60km north of Gold Coast in the seaside village of Cleveland on world heritage listed Moreton Bay. Modern low set brick home with 3 bedrooms, computer room, formal living room and large kitchen/family/dining room Queen size beds in two bedrooms, single bed in the third bedroom. Two bathrooms – ensuite off the master bedroom. appliances – microwave, dishwasher, clothes washer & dryer, refrigerators, centrally air conditioned and heated for your comfort.patio is accessible from the master bedroom and family room where there is a gas barbecue and outdoor furniture

Our car is a 2001 Subaru station wagon, automatic, airconditioned and seats 4 adults. It has low mileage and has been very carefully taken care of by us.
Brisbane is a very modern city of 1.5 million residents. There is a train every half hour that travels to the centre of Brisbane from Cleveland. Our house is 3km from the village centre and the train station as well as the ferries to the Moreton Bay islands. There is a bus stop two blocks from our house that will take you to Cleveland center, the large shopping centres and Brisbane city centre if you wish.
Across the street from our house is the coastal park reserve with walkway/bicycleway. You can see many birds, a resident koala and sometimes a kangaroo if you are an early riser.

A forty-five minute drive to the south from our house is the Gold Coast. It has Movieworld, Dreamworld, Seaworld, surf beaches and gambling casinos. Inland from the Gold Coast is the Lamington National Park which is rainforest and contains some of the last Antarctic Beeches (one of which is estimated to have started life 4000 years ago), numerous walking tracks and an abundance of wildlife.

A one and one half hour drive to the north of our house is the Sunshine Coast where you can visit Australia Zoo. It is very different from the Gold Coast – no high rise buildings or theme parks - it is more pristine and it is possible to rent and drive an off road vehicle for 60km along one of the beaches.

You can take a ferry from Cleveland to go to the various islands in Moreton Bay - which have gorgeous sandy beaches and surf, go whale watching, fishing, diving, etc.

Stradbroke Island - with great beaches, gorgeous lakes, 4-wheel driving. See dolphins, whales, turtles, stingrays etc from the headland walks.

Moreton Island - with daily dolphin feeding, beaches and easy swimming or diving to see tropical fish and sunken ships.Rainforests - 60 minutes to Mount Tambourine.
