We are looking to swop houses over Christmas and are flexible with dates as we are able to stay with family in Sydney during this time.

We have a lovely three story Victorian house in a quiet tree lined road in a conservation area in East London. The house is designed to a high standard with 3 bedrooms (2 double), office, large open plan kitchen, dining and living room, and beautiful bathroom and downstairs loo.

Victoria Park, one of the largest in central London, is a stone's throw away as is Mile End Park. We are surrounded by the very best that modern London has to offer. Lots of fabulous traditional pubs and modern bars and restaurants nearby. Great boutiques and organic bakery, butchers and markets across the park.

In zone 2, we are 10 mins walk to the tube with Hammersmith and City, District and Central line and good bus links at the end of the road. The clipper ferry which takes you from Canary Wharf up the river to Tower of London, Tate Modern, Somerset House and Westminster is a short bus ride away and runs every hour. Liverpool Street Station is two stops away on the tube if you need national rail links.

East London is a vibrant and culturally interesting area which is the fastest growing destination in London. It offers around 130 attractions from the well-known Tower of London to the quirky Geffrye Museum, and more markets than any other town in Britain. The best markets (Spitalfields, Columbia Flower Market and Brick Lane) and fashionista shops are a short bus/ bike ride away in trendy Shoreditch. We are located at the centre of the contemporary British art scene, and the area offers a wide range of activities from watersports to circus training, and over 100 annual events.
