Our home is a cottage in a conservation area, minutes from two harbours, beach, leisure pool, high street,and train station. There are two professional golf courses within walking distance and a lovely park with good play area and cafe.
Belhaven Bay, renowned for its beautiful sand and surfing, is 5 minutes drive away as is the John Muir country park. Edinburgh and Berwick upon Tweed are 20 minutes away by train. Newcastle, Durham and York are also within 2 to 3 hours train/drive travel time.
Dunbar is quiet, pretty and ideal for children or those interested in walking or exploring an ancient and historic part of Scotland. It is a perfect base from which to explore Edinburgh, East Lothian, the Borders and Northumberland.
