A recently renovated 220 year old stone cottage, sitting in the National Peak Park conservation area and at the centre of the small village of Holme, there's a welcoming pub and great local produce. We have spell binding views in all directions; across Pennine moorland, Peak District hills and down the Holme valley towards York. Holme is an excellent base for hill and fell walking - we're even on the Pennine Way, yet we are just 40 minutes away from Manchester, Leeds or Sheffield and their train stations; two hours from London. The Holme valley is renowned for it's history and woolen mills and is perhaps the most loved character in the long running BBC program "Last of the Summer Wine"... you can see our gate during the titles!
