We live in a semi rural area on 1 acre but ten minutes drive to the beach on the southern Gold Coast hinterland in SE Queensland. Shopping centre 5 minutes drive. It is a very quiet area with lovely scenery and half tame wallabies and kookaburras, parrots around.
The Gold Coast is a famous tourist area with the bright lights half an hour away if you wish. Brisbane (capital city of Queensland) is one hour's drive North or you can take the train from Robina, 20 minutes drive away.
Large garden but grass cutting will be arranged. Winter here is mild and sunny with (usually) little rain.
