Our small, characterful cottage is about 150 years old in a quiet village 9 miles from Oxford. It is on the edge of Otmoor, an RSPB site, good retreat or base for visiting Oxford as well as the local historic houses: Blenheim Palace, Waddesdon Manor, Stowe. Day trips to London and the beautiful Cotswolds are also recommended.
There are 2 small bedrooms with double beds and one tiny bedroom with a single bed. Bathroom with bath and shower over. Wood/coal burning stove in beamed sitting room (and CH). Kitchen/dining area is well equipped. Dishwasher in utility area. Small paved garden has table and chairs. Parking on street about 100m away but cottage is accessible for loading luggage, etc. Ideal for visiting students.
