Mill Terrace

Our house is in Burton Bradstock, a small traditional village in West Dorset. Hive beach is 10 minutes walk from the house and is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The Hive beach cafe serves great seafood and ice creams!

We are also in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - a great place for walking, cycling, fossil hunting and enjoying the sea.

Bridport is a small Market Town close by which has a street market twice a week as well as a range of shops, restaurants and cinema. It`s got a good reputation for local food.

Day trips to Bournemouth and Exeter for city shops are an hour away - Bristol/Bath just under two hours.

Our house, a terrace built in 1860, has a modern timber frame extension.

West Dorset can offer a great deal in terms of nationally important natural and cultural heritage to enjoy. The Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site is 10 minutes walk away, Dorset AONB covers most of the area and we have easy access to the South Dorset Ridgeway - a Neolithic /Iron Age treasure trove to rival Stonehenge!

Bridport is a funky little town that has a great arts and cultural scene, with Arts Centre, cinemas, lots of antique/ vintage shops, cafes, restaurants and music venues.

further afield you can visit Lyme Regis and into Devon or east to the Purbecks and Poole Harbour.
