My one bedroom apartment is on the fourth floor in a large block just behind the Royal Festival Hall known as the old Shell Building, now called Whitehouse Apartments. It has 24 hour concierge, a communal roof garden, and a swimming pool and gym in the basement. It is suitable for a couple or single person and is close to the river, the National Theatre (3 minutes away) and the National Film theatre, it is also 3 minutes’ walk from Waterloo Station.

About the location

It is lively year round but particularly at weekends. The river is a stone’s throw away and the arts (theatre, film, art galleries etc) are all within walking distance. There are restaurants galore to suit all tastes.
The underground is at both Waterloo Station and Embankment, the latter just over the Hungerford Bridge. Blackfriars Bridge Station is about 15 minutes’ along the river towards the Tate Modern. There are frequent river boats from London Eye (a few minutes walk away) to Greenwich and beyond.
