It enjoys views of the 900 year old Catherdral from the upper floor windows and is only a very short walk away from the bronze statue of the Saxon king, Alfred the Great, and ancient watermill and the lovely walks across the ancient water meadows.
The two bedroom cottage retains a wealth of features and charm including sash windows, an open fire place and stripped wooden flooring. It is furnished with a mix of antique and older style furniture and has interesting library of books. French doors lead to a private terrace complete with garden furniture.
