Lovely 4 Bed home in Headingley, Leeds, England

We live in a large four bedroomed semi- detached house in a sought after cul de sac in central Headingley. We have a large lounge with a piano, a large kitchen/diner/living room which backs onto a south facing garden. There is a downstairs wet room with a shower and toilet. There is a utility room with a washer and drier. Upstairs we have a study, which is a great hideaway second TV room. There is separate toilet upstairs and a bathroom with bath and shower. There are four bedrooms - one king sized double and three large rooms with single beds in.. one with a hideaway bed underneath for an additional person, one with a spare mattress that can be put on the floor (suitable for an extra child) and the other with room for a mattress with a bed.

We are central to the restaurants and shops in Headingely and the main bus route into town and out of town is at the end of our road.. but our road is very quiet and the birds -( a robin, song thrush and woodpecker), squirrels and a friendly fox are regular visitors. We have a swing in the front garden and a trampoline in the back.

Leeds is a ten minute bus ride with the museums, art galleries, royal armories and the shopping and the nightlife. Fifteen minutes in the other direction is Otley, a market town and a gateway to the Yokshire Dales with ten minutes further Ilkely- famous for its Cow and Calf on Ilkley Moor and Betty's tea room. Harewood House is a fiftenn minute drive on the road to Harrogate- a spa town worthy of a visit.

Headingley is famous for its cricket ground and rugby stadium. So, if you want a city break this is the place for you. If you have a car then you are within close distance of the Yokshire Dales for day trips with plenty of restaurants for the evenings.There are buses to Ilkey and otley from the bottom of the road and train to Harrogate if no car.
