House in beautiful seaside village outside Edinburgh available.

We have just completed renovating the ground floor of our home. This area has an open plan kitchen / dining room / family room covering the ground floor. Its really easy to live in, particularly if you have children. There is also a freshly decorated double bedroom on the ground floor.

Upstairs there is an additional lounge, a master double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom, one children’s bedroom with two single beds and a room with a cot/toddler bed. The beds could be rejigged to suit your family. Some (not all) rooms have been freshly decorated. Outside there is a shared secure back garden with a climbing frame for children.

The house has a TV, dvd, hi-fi, wi-fi and free parking. Car exchanges welcome.

We have an animal hair allergy so can’t exchange with you if you have cats in your house.

About the location

Aberdour is great for a holiday that combines the city sights of Edinburgh with the option to get a bit of peace and relax.

It is on a direct half-hourly train line to Edinburgh (25 mins) and we are well located for driving to St. Andrews (1 hr), Perthshire (30 mins) Glasgow (1 hr), Edinburgh Airport (30 mins). The village itself is a key stop on the Fife Coastal Path and has a Gold award beach, harbour, castle, bakery, deli, pubs and a fantastic fish restaurant.

There are many other beautiful fishing villages and beaches to explore along the East Neuk of Fife. Fife is the birthplace of golf and there are plenty of good courses nearby.
