Lush, green, safe, historic Richmond is on the banks of the Thames with its Royal Parks, river walks, great restaurants, buzzy riverfront pubs and excellent shops and supermarkets. Home to Kings and Queens of England for centuries, there remain palaces and country homes to visit, including Hampton Court, home of Henry 8th and Anne Boleyn (before he chopped off her head).

The station is a ten minute walk and is extremely well served by both overground and underground trains to all parts of London and beyond.
