Lovely 4 Bed home in Cambridge, England

Ours is a three-storey Edwardian detached house in a quiet residential Cambridge street just a few minutes walk from the historic and beautiful city centre. We have four bedrooms and the property, which has original fireplaces and some wooden floors, has all the modern features which make a home comfortable, pleasant, and easy to live in. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom. There are two further double bedrooms and a single bedroom on the second level along with a new shower room. The accommodation overall is roomy, and well-equipped. There is a wood-burning stove in the living room, a dining room with large table which seats up to eight and an adjoining conservatory. The kitchen also contains an extendable oak table. In all, it is a home full of character which offers everything needed for 21st century living. Cambridge is an historical jewel of a town situated just a convenient 45 minute train ride from the centre of London and Eurostar, whose two-hour rail journey to Paris can have you there in time for lunch. Cambridge itself is picturesque and vibrant and is world-famous for it's university, dating back 800 years. Our home is a 15 minute walk or a five-minute bicycle ride to the heart of the beautiful city, with it's lovely pubs, historic sites, 32 colleges - many of their spectacular grounds are open to visitors - and ancient cobbled streets. There are also two modern shopping centres, a daily market, and a bustling riverside with punt trips along the River Cam operating all year round. Overall, Cambridge is a stunning place to live and to holiday with fast and simple access to London, and Stansted Airport - which offers thousands of cut-price flights to all corners of Europe - is a 30 minute drive away.
We need to be in or near Sydney from about mid-December for about eight weeks but can offer a non-simultaneous exchange in July and August if visitors want the benefit of a UK summer.
