Lovely 3 Bed home in Woodstock, Canada

Our 1894 Victorian offers 3000 ft2 of period charm with its turret, double staircases (the back one now with stairglide), long windows, high ceilings, fireplaces, library and sunroom, as well as all of the modern comforts: a custom kitchen, 3 full bathrooms (2 upstairs with shower+tub--master is a large jetted spatub--and 3rd on main foor is a step-in shower with seat), 2nd floor laundry room, AC, cable tv with dvd, 3 computers with internet and family room addition overlooking the dining patio, and English garden with gazebo.

In addition, our home has some amenities for people with disabilities. Though the entryways involve a few steps (and are therefore NOT wheelchair accessible), we do have a stairglide "lift" to the upper floor, a low sill shower with an adjustable ADA approved chair and a power bathlift seat in the master's ensuite tub, grab bars in all three bathrooms and safety rails and anti slip floor treads and other such helpers throughout the house. Plus the garage is equipped with a remote controlled power door opener. In there is a scooter you can borrow for exploring the neighborhood and downtown.

Our neighborhood in the historic district offers parks, pools and trails, plus pubs, cafes, library, museum, art gallery, theatre, shops and the train station which links directly to Toronto's Station. With quick access to Lakes Huron, Erie and Ontario, there is an abundance of waterfront to choose from. We like to spend a lot of the summer hols at our getaway beach spot (our "parked" 30 ft caravan) near Port Rowan--so there is an easy way to facilitate a non-simultaneous swap.
