Lovely rowhouse of character in mostly francophone residential neighbourhood of Montreal.
This is a typical Montreal triplex in a neighbourhood of 1920`s houses..so we live on the main floor, and part of the upstairs, and there is one independent apartment with its own entrance, that is usually rented out to a very quiet person.
This is a neighbourhood with lots of young families, a number of parks, and tree-lined streets.
Our house is in the centre of the island of Montreal, just north of the Plateau Montreal, and east of Little Italy, with lots of shopping within easy walking distance, cafes and restaurants, bike paths, BIXI bike stands, 2 metro (subway) lines, wonderful Jean-Talon open air market with huge variety of fresh Quebec produce, and easy walk or car ride to Beaubien cinema; plus metro, bike or car to downtown in 1/2 hour or less.
