The Hepworth Gallery, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and Dean Clough galleries are there for those more contemplative times.

Northern Broadswords theatre company based in Halifax. The Halle orchestra, Northern Ballet, and various other theatre companies based in the Manchester/Leeds areas.

There are many good pubs and eateries in the vicinity, so you don`t need to go further than a local taxi drive for a good night out.
