Two-bedroom Victorian terraced house on a very quiet road in Wanstead on the Central Line. Wanstead Village is a leafy conservation area in East London. It has two tube stations and a high street with independent shops, delis and restaurants and a great local pub with a massive beer garden. There are also two small supermarkets on the high street, which is three mins walk from our house, and the nearest tube station is five mins away. The big Wanstead Park, with its ornamental ponds and lovely walks, is nearby. Wanstead is a relaxed suburb with a villagey feel but it's only 20 mins from the City and less than 30 mins from the West End, so you get the best of both worlds - and the Olympic park is only three stops away on the tube.
