Lovely 2 Bed home in Lavin, Switzerland

Our modern house with its views of forests and meadows sits at the foot a 10,000-ft mountain towering above the valley. The opportunities for hiking, skiing (downhill and cross country), cycling and other outdoor sports are endless in this spectacular region of the Engadine Valley. Just step outside and set off on an alpine adventure. The ski resorts of St Moritz, Scuol, Pontresina and Klosters are all within a short train ride (excellent service from village station). The house has trouble-free underfloor heating from a geo-thermal source, a wooden deck overlooking the garden and neighbouring farm. The village of Lavin (200 inhabitants) has two excellent restaurants, a well-stocked shop, a bakery/café plus authentic charm and a warm welcome. The local language is Rhaeto-Romanic, but getting by in English is not a problem.
