Lovely 4 Bed home in West Tytherley, England

A large Edwardian house in a picturesque village near Salisbury and Winchester, surrounded by fabulous countryside and within easy reach of the New Forest National Park and the south coast.

The house is warm and comfortable with a wood burning stove in the sitting room, two bathrooms, all mod cons in the kitchen and plenty of toys/activities for children. There are two bedrooms with double beds and two children's rooms with singles. The garden is safe and fully enclosed with a playhouse, swing, climbing frame and views over a field of horses to the rear. There are bicycles you are free to use and we will consider car exchange.

The household includes a cat, two guinea pigs and a small tank of fish, all of which are easy to look after.

The village is quiet and very friendly; it has a shop selling local produce, a small church, a playground and a beautiful old pub with log fires and delicious food, all a couple of minutes from our house. There is an infrequent bus service from the village and a train station in the next village (approx. 2 miles away).

The Test Valley is renowned for its fabulous countryside and for trout fishing in the River Test. There are beautiful walks from the front door (including a half-hour, mostly off-road stroll to the adventure playground in the next village), and it's only a short drive to the New Forest or, for more excitement, the wonderful Paultons theme park.

Day trips to London are possible from nearby Grateley station, or we can arrange cheap overnight accomodation in London (2 bed house in Zone 2) for a longer stay.
