Spacious house near beach in Whitley Bay, Northumberland

Spacious Victorian house, 5 mins from Whitley Bay's sweeping sandy beach, 20 mins from vibrant Newcastle upon Tyne & 30 mins from the stunning Northumberland countryside & Hadrian`s Wall.

On the ground floor we have a large open plan kitchen/dining/living space on the ground floor which looks out on to our patio and garden with sunken trampoline. There is also an office, downstairs toilet and separate sitting room. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms. On the first floor we have a king size with ensuite bathroom, and 2 children's rooms - both with double beds. A bathroom with shower & bath can be found on this floor. On the second floor, there's a double bedroom and an extra bathroom with shower. We have 2 children (age 12 & 15), so there's plenty of games available to use if wanted. We have 2 house cats which would be in boarding during any exchange, but please be aware in case you have allergies.

It's a 5 min walk into Whitley Bay centre which has a wide variety of local shops & cafes. Whitley Bay, and nearby Tynemouth, have golden sandy beaches, nature reserves & surfing, and there are lovely coastal walks just minutes from our house. We're a 2 min walk to the metro station to get you to Newcastle in 20 mins, which is an historic, culturally rich and beautiful city.

Within a short drive is the stunning Northumberland countryside and coastline, famous for its castles, sandy beaches and, of course, Hadrian's Wall. It's some of the most unspoilt countryside in the UK and is great for walking, cycling & enjoying pub-lunches! What's more, in just 90 mins you can be in the Lake District, or either of the beautiful cities of Edinburgh or York!
