Lovely 2 Bed home in London, England

Gorgeous split-level flat with roof terrace in the fashionable East End.

We have owned this flat for 10 years and have lovingly renovated every room. It is light and spacious with a large roof terrace.

The flat is built over 3 levels on the top floor of a terraced row. The reasonably sized kitchen opens out onto a large roof terrace with a table and BBQ. We use the roof terrace like a second living room and use the BBQ even in winter. There are many herbs growing for anyone who likes to cook.

The living room is large and comfortable with two large windows and a dining table. The spare bedroom is furnished as an office but has a double sofa-bed.

Situated just on the edge of Zone 1, this is a great area with many nice pubs and restaurants on our doorstep. We have a Saturday street market just down the road and Brick Lane and Columbia Road flower market are both a short walk away. Good bus links to the West End. It’s a great place to be, whether you know London well or are visiting for the first time.

Hackney and Shoreditch are the centre of cutting edge fashion and art with many galleries and boutiques in the area. Also just a short walk from all the bars and nightclubs of Hoxton Square.

Great family location. Hackney City Farm is at the end of the street with a wonderful kid-friendly cafe and lots of animals to visit. Both Haggeston Park (directly behind) and London Fields (at the end of the road) have great kids playgrounds. And the V&A Museum of Childhood is about 15 minutes walk away.

London Fields Lido, an olympic size heated outdoor pool is just 10 minutes walk away and is open all year round.
