Lovely 4 Bed home in Rotorua, New Zealand

This is our house from the end of our private jetty at the bottom of the garden.

We are located in the centre of the North Island of New Zealand and right at the heart of Maori Culture - Rotorua.

Rotorua is home to 16 amazing and trout filled lakes, a remarkable volcanic landscape, geothermal hot springs and beautiful forests (mountain biking mecca).

From us, it is 45 minutes drive to the beach (Mount Maunganui, Maketu, Pukehina and Papamoa), 2.5 - 3 hours to Auckland and 2.5 hours to the ski slopes of Mt Ruapehu.

Our home is at Kawaha Point, a lake edge peninsula settlement on the edge of historic Lake Rotorua. The house is 425 square metres and the land around 1,200 square metres and is set in a beautiful, peaceful secluded bay. (It is not in middle of lake as indicated by map - look to Kawaha Point on the map)

There are four large en suited guest rooms – three have super-king beds and one room has two Queen beds (I could only show three rooms due to photo limit. The missing one is also Super King)

Each guest room is beautifully appointed with luxurious linens and furnishings and stunning examples of both contemporary and traditional Maori art work.

Views pour in the windows of each room including the stunning and historic Lake Rotorua, Ohinemutu Village, Rotorua Township and Mt Tarawera.

All bedrooms have LCD televisions. There is a media room with Sky television access. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

The kitchen and living areas are spacious and designed with entertaining family top of mind.

There are three outdoor living areas and you will have access to kayaks, mountain bikes (2 adult/ 2 children) a table tennis table, spa pool, barbecue and dinghy.

Right on the waters edge, there are plenty of opportunities for water activity from here. You can even be collected by floatplane from the jetty and take in a scenic flight of our gorgeous home town.

This would be our first exchange. It will be mine and my sistersfamilies so 4 adults and 4 children.

It is okay if you are a smoker, but you must agree to smoke only outside.

As part of this exchange, my sisters home is also available. You may wish to split your time between the two or go for just one of them. Her home is in Auckland - in the leafy, beautiful suburb of Parnell. It can accmmodate 8 people, is walking distance to Parnell Village, Auckland Museum and the Auckland waterfront. (I will list the reference number when she loads her home).
