Lovely 5 Bed home in Cheltenham, England

Cheltenham is the gateway to the Cotswolds...the beautiful rolling hills in the west of England.

Cheltenham is known for it's racecourse with several horse racing events held throughout the year including the world famous Cheltenham Festival. The town has some beautiful Georgian regency buildings and is nestled beneath the Cotswold hills...perfect for walking, mountain biking or visiting picture postcard villages.

There are many restaurants and traditional pubs along with a new cinema complex containing several new restaurants. There is a indoor swimming pool and an outdoor pool complex for when the sun shines.

Cheltenham is a great place to base yourself if you want to explore the west of England and Wales. The cities of Bath, Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham are less than a one hour drive. The historic town of Straford Upon Avon, the home of Shakespeare, is also an hour away. Direct trains to London take approximately 2 hours.

The Cotswolds contain some of the prettiest villages in England...Winchcombe, Broadway and the Slaughters to name a few. History is everywhere...the City of Gloucester with it's 1000 year old Cathedral (the setting for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films) and historic docks is just down the road as is Cirencester, the Roman capital of Britain.

We have a five bedroom house on a small, quiet estate on the outskirts of Cheltenham. The town centre is a ten minute drive or a 45 minute walk down quiet streets (although there is a bus stop just around the corner).

We have a master bedroom with en-suite, a double bedroom in the new loft conversion with a WC, a single bedroom and two further bedrooms which our children (5 and 3) use. We also have a double futon available upstairs. We have a modern open plan kitchen/diner with all the usual mod cons and a separate lounge. There is Virgin TV and wireless internet available. There are lots of DVDs, books, toys, children's bikes and scooters along with a gas BBQ.

We have a garden with playhouse for the kids and patio area for a glass of wine for the adults. Immediately in front of our house is a park with a slide, swings, roundabout etc. There is parking for three cars outside the house.

We have two cats that just require feeding and the odd tickle to keep them happy.
