Lovely 3 Bed home in Godalming, England

Our house is a semi detached cottage with modern interior with 3 bedrooms and a lovely cottage garden.

Situated in the village of Witley 5 min outside the upmarket village of Godalming. There is plenty of beautiful countryside much of which is national trust owned (www.nationaltrust.org.uk)on the doorstep. There are plenty of golf-courses and scenic walking routes within close proximately. Along with many traditional country pubs such as the Dog & Pheasant (Brook) and The Swan (Chiddingfold)

It is 10-15 minute walk to the train station, with direct trains into London (50 minutes).The train also stops in the lovely market town of Guildford (http://www.guildford.org.uk) (10min)which is great for shopping and dining out. If you take the train in a southerly direction you get to the quaint village of Haslemere and then on to the seaside town of Portsmouth.

Our house is next door to the village pub, with a restaurant and there is also an off-licence and a newsagents in the village. There is a bus stop outside the house with buses to Milford (farmers market) Godalming (local supermarket)and on to Guildford.

This would suit someone or family who wants a mixture of London and English countryside.

There is great transport links but there are many places to visit where you potentially would need a car (depending on what your plans are). So car rental would be advised or discuss car exchange.
